Educational Agencies: 5 things to know is a must-read post for all marketing specialist in the education industry.
Before engaging with educational agencies, let alone building a network from the scratch, few points may help HEIs willing to do their marketing and recruitment via agencies.
1. Political will. Not only should the governance be informed, but marketers need full support, too. The governance should let its intentions be known to all administrative units
2. Business-minded staff. Agents are in the business for money: staff dealing with agents should be capable of “talking money” and activate incentives, concessions, and the like to foster agents’ interest.
3. Dimensions. The agency work requires skills and competences, that range from digital marketing to branding. One-man agencies are less equipped than more structured entities.
4. Understanding the unfamiliar. In some states, families pay agents to help their scions finding the most suitable university. If this is not the case in our country, then we need to understand differences.
5. One country. Most agencies operate within one country, as it may be difficult to know things about more. Agencies professing multi-state recruitment should be investigated more in detail before engaging with them.
Clearly, there’s more about Educational Agencies: 5 things to know. Also because probably agents are probably on the rise in Italy.
