Greenmetric: 9 università italiane nella top 100 del ranking più green

 

GreenMetric è una ranking internazionale, pubblicato annualmente, delle performance di sostenibilità e parametri verdi delle università di tutto il mondo. Le università ricevono un punteggio che riflette i loro sforzi per ridurre l’impronta ecologica dell’università e l’educazione alla sostenibilità e la ricerca.

La classifica è stata lanciata nel 2010 dalla Universitas Indonesia per promuovere la sostenibilità negli istituti di istruzione superiore e consentire confronti tra di loro.  Da allora, il numero dei partecipanti è cresciuto e la metodologia è stata perfezionata sulla base del feedback delle università partecipanti.

L’edizione 2021 vede 9 istituti italiani tra i primi 100 nel mondo: Università di Bologna, Politecnico di Torino, Università LUISS di Roma, Università di Torino, Università dell’Aquila, Università di Genova, Politecnico di Milano, Università di Padova, e l’Università di Salerno.

La cattiva notizia è che l’Italia ha perso una top 10: l’Università di Bologna, che era 10 º nel 2020, è 12 º nel 2021.

La (molto) buona notizia è il numero dei primi 100 istituti di istruzione superiore italiani, che sono passati da 6 nel 2020 a 9 nel 2021.
