Italpress: the first Italian TV news on universities
A unique product in the Italian media: Italpress, the news agency, has created a new TV news channel dedicated to the world of universities. Italpress’ weekly magazine offers now a new multimedia product dedicated to Italian and foreign universities.
The main focus will be on BAs, MAs, PhDs, summer schools, executive courses, and study programs. But topics related to research, publications and statistics, and interviews will also be covered.
The TV channel offers insights on training and placement, news directly from the University Ministry and university institutions: state, private and telematic and academies. A special focus on scholarships, notices and competitions is also being offered.
“Alongside the TV news – the Director, Gaspare Borsellino, remarks – we will also maintain a news channel on Italian universities. The two new media products are characterised by a simple and immediate language. Lecturers, researchers, scientists, companies, students and freshmen. To help those who plan the future and those who want to reinvent the future starting from training”.
The first issue of the news has been released on October 4, 2021, on the circuits of sites and TV partners of Italpress throughout Italy. It features an interview in which the minister Maria Cristina Messa speaks about the future of the Italian University after the pandemic.
