CRM solutions for HigherEd

CRM solutions are available to purchase, as the market today offers a number of diverse and interesting solutions to choose from.

Especially if conceived for (international) student recruitment, HEIs need to adopt a functioning authomated system to keep track of applications and to monitor their funnel.

A good CRM allows university personnel constant monitoring of the admission process. As well as the possibility to intervene to correct deadlocks and foster communication with prospective students.

Interestingly, the use of CRM solutions by Italian institutions is on the rise, and more are queueing up to buy one, or studying the dossier.

Though the whole digital marketing sector is on the rise worldwide, this is not per se a sign that CRMs are adopted and implemented.

Creating a shortlist is in itself is a tricky task, as one always ends up not listing all solutions available in the market. So any further integration of this post is welcome.

Also, consider the “make” (vs. “buy”) solution, unless your IT department takes 10 years to develop the product (I heard this happened…).
